Justin Bieber has been crowned the winner of the first ever MTV Voices award at the2011 MTV EMA in Belfast this Sunday (6th November).
Along with the Northern Ireland Youth Forum, the Biebster will be honoured with the accolade, which recognises the ambitious launch of the Believe Charity Drive that aims to rally his fans to help raise millions of dollars for 20 charities around the world.
JB has chosen these organisations for their emphases on education, youth well-being and music. In addition to his work with the Believe Charity Drive, Bieber has been extremely involved with the Make A Wish Foundation and Pencils of Promises, which helps build schools for children without access to education.
Each year at the EMA, MTV will also recognise a local organisation from the show’s host city whose mission reflects the spirit of MTV Voices.
This year’s recipient will be the Northern Ireland Youth Forum (NIYF), a youth-led organisation that exists to inspire and enable young people to actively shape and influence the issues that affect them.
Through various events, online forums, training schemes and lobby groups, NIYF aims to build confidence amongst their peers and mobilise them to use their voices in response to social issues and political decisions.
Justin will also be performing at the ceremony - hosted by girlfriend Selena Gomez - and you can catch all the EMA action from Belfast's Odyssey Arena on 6th November from 9pm GMT on MTV.

Justin will be given the philanthropy award in recognition of the work he has done to launch his Believe Charity Drive, which has raised millions on behalf of an umbrella group of 20 charities around the world. Additionally the singer has devoted time to the Make A Wish Foundation and the kids education group Pencils of Promises.
Local outreach group the Northern Ireland Youth Forum will also receive an MTV Voice award.
MTV Voices is MTV’s new "pro-social" platform - an online community space that highlights positive and inspirational content from artists and viewers alike.
“It's a compelling new platform where our audience can share its voice and its talent with us," said Georgia Arnold. MTV svp of Social Responsibility. “It encourages MTV's audience to share experiences on difficult subjects like bullying and self-confidence issues like body-weight, as well as provide a platform for artists to talk about their inspiration,” she said.
