Disney Channel invites viewers to create their own New Year’s Eve programming event by voting for their favorite episodes, moments, music videos and more in online polls at DisneyChannel.com. Beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, three new polls will roll out each Friday inviting viewers to vote in a total of 18 categories, including Favorite Episodes and Favorite Guest Star. Fans can also vote for their Top 10 favorite music videos of 2009, and the songs will air on Radio Disney. Voting will determine the New Year’s Eve programming lineup, entitled “New Year’s Star Showdown,” airing THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (6:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Throughout the night, Disney Channel will air sneak peeks of upcoming Disney Channel and Disney XD series and original movies including the much-anticipated “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.”
Last year nearly 33.7 million online votes were cast during the “Totally New Year” programming event. This year, every time one of the online polls is completed, users will unlock that week’s digital prize and reveal a piece of the mystery puzzle. Prizes include a 2010 printable calendar, New Year’s Eve party decorations and games. Fans can also test their Disney Channel knowledge in new online trivia games every week.
During the “New Year’s Eve Star Showdown” programming lineup, favorite Disney Channel stars will compete in five Game Show challenges: “So Random,” “Last Star Standing,” “Sound Off,” “Quick Draw” and the “New Years Eve Countdown Game.”

Selena Gomez To Star In ‘The Seven Rays’?

Selena Gomez is reportedly in-talks to star in a “book turned movie” called “The Seven Rays“. The Official Twitter account confirmed that they met Selena for lunch to talk about the movie.
The book follows seventeen year-old honor student Beth Michaels who starts receiving gold envelopes with messages like, “YOU ARE MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE”. She thinks that a crazy person might be stalking her.

When she begins seeing people’s thoughts, feelings, and personal histories on their electromagnetic fields, she thinks that she might be a crazy person. And then when the hottest boy in town, Richie Mac, kisses and becomes obsessed with her, she knows that something’s up. But she can deal with all of that until her mom gets freaked out by her erratic behavior and sends her to a psychiatric institute for observation.

It is here where Beth finds out that she was adopted under mysterious circumstances and perhaps has supernatural powers. Now all she has to do is break out of the ward – with Richie’s help – and road trip to New York to discover who she really is and why all this is happening to her… Is it possible that Beth might be more than she thinks she is? The Seven Rays is a paranormal coming-of-age story that delves into love, friendship, family and the supernatural. “The Seven Rays” is a novel written by Jessica Bendinger.

Exclusive pic & Selena talks about "Naturally" Music Video

MTV interviewed Selena at the AMAs red carpet where they asked her about her upcoming music video for her new single "Naturally". You can watch the interview below. Gosh this is SO exciting!! And also we bring you the first sneek peak aka image of Naturally see the image in the article between!!
Selena Gomez and her band, the Scene, are poised to release "Naturally," the next single off their album, Kiss & Tell. And at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star told MTV News that they have a video for the song coming out shortly too.
"That's coming out soon," she said of the uptempo dance-floor friendly track, in which Gomez sings about a guy who is her perfect fit. Their relationship comes, well, quite naturally, and they make sense together like thunder and lightning. "I shot a video for it a couple weekends ago."

The 17-year-old singer said that the video, which she shot on November 14, will have her fans seeing her in a brand-new way. "The video is very different from any other video that I've done," she said. "It has a lot more fierce clothes and a lot of fun colors."
In October, Gomez sat down with MTV News to talk about the album, which she was relieved to see finally on the shelves. "I have been working on it for a good two years now, so for it to finally be out is this huge thing lifted off my chest," she said. "And it feels amazing. I hope my fans like it."
The album, which also features first single "Falling Down," wasn't entirely penned by Gomez, but she said she was very picky about the songs she chose. "I wanted to make sure, A) I can relate to it, and B) my fans can relate to it, and it's something that I went through," she explained. "And all of those songs are things that I went through, and that's why I put that all together."

Selena will be the celebrity guest in the upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition! which will air on December 6 at 8PM ET on ABC. Here's a few more info about the episode:

In the upcoming episode “Scott Family,” Celebrity volunteers Usher and Selena Gomez guest in the episode to give Trina Scott, from Clarksville, Tenn., and her three daughters the good news that their problem-ridden home would be rebuilt in just seven days. While Usher lends a hand to Paige and John, working side by side to help make the new Scott family house a home; and the family gets to visit Selena on the set of Wizards.
